I didn't understand that body image isn't going to change unless you work for it, eat the right foods, and sleep on appropriate times. Patience was what i needed, i realized that my body will not change over night, results will not show after an hour of working out. So, i learned Patience, i set a daily schedule and before i knew it i hit my goal of losing 2-or more pounds every week faster than i ever imagine. As my schedule began to get a little too comfortable, i switched it up. Routines get boring but to keep my healthy journey stable (so i wouldnt quit) i surprised myself here and there. I just kept in mind that PATIENCE IS VIRTUE.
But most importantly, i learned to love myself. Whether i felt as if i wasn't working hard enough, i gave myself credit that i at least took that step to something greater. Everyday is full of challenges for me, i always get tempted to want to eat a bag of chips or a tray of cookies, but i keep in mind that my body doesn't need toxic waste. I love my body and i want it healthy. Water is my best friend, peeing every second of the day feels relieving (sometimes torture), but it's nice to feel a little lighter on the toilet. Lol.
